New Work: 2025 Rapha Festive 500: One & Done

Every year, Rapha Cycling Club members are tasked with riding 500km between the Christmas and New Year's holidays. One group in Southern California does it in one shot, starting one morning and finishing the following evening. Many attempt it. Only a handful finish.

This is my second year embedded with the group, living out of a van for 40-plus hours, catching sleep where I can, chasing riders who are cold, exhausted, and ready to be done. The rain this year added a layer of suffering that made the finishes hit differently.

I shoot, direct, and edit everything. Having the creative latitude to make what I want with this project is something I don't take lightly.

The teaser was shot one early morning in the hills above LA in the days before the ride. The full video documents the 2025 event from pre-dawn start to finish line.
